Consultations
Mental health consultations can assist individuals and groups in exploring and problem solving concerns that arise. Fernbrook Family Center offers several options for consultation to other providers, organizations, and groups.
Mental Health Consultations to Child Cares
Fernbrook Family Center’s Early Childhood Mental Health Specialists provide consultations to child care centers and home child cares. Consultation may include exploring general concerns or classroom observation and follow up discussion in order to provide individualized consultation to each child care provider.
Reflective Consultation
Reflective Consultation aims to create a space for support and growth. Fernbrook Family Center has facilitated reflective consultation groups in schools, child cares, counties, and other organizations.
General Mental Health Consultation
At times, schools, organizations, and community groups encounter problems or issues. Fernbrook Family Center offers general consultation services in situations where a mental health perspective may be helpful. Examples may include development of policies related to mental health, supporting the mental health and wellness of staff, and providing support after a community or workplace crisis.
