POSITIONS AVAILABLE IN DODGE COUNTY

Mental Health Program Director

We are looking to add a Mental Health Program Director in our Dodge County location to work with the Administrative Director to oversee clinical services of their program and directly supervise, mentor, and coach staff. The Program Director will work with the Administrative Director to ensure the further development, consistent implementation, and effective management of policies, procedures, and best practices for the benefit of the clients and agency while ensuring the development and maintenance of a positive work environment.

This position is full-time.

Responsibilities:  

  • Provides leadership to staff, accountable for high quality clinical care, achievement of clinical outcomes, sets the tone for collaborative, client-centered clinical standards. 
  • Oversees the development and maintenance of a positive work environment designed to attract and retain a stable, progressive, caring, and diverse workforce needed to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence based services. 
  • Provide supervision and direction based on individual client and family needs. Provide guidance, manage clinical service delivery, and proactively support staff clinical development. 
  • In partnership with the Administrative Director, assign and monitor caseloads, manage the waiting list, and provide information to clients and families about staff assignments and service delivery timelines. 
  • In partnership with the Administrative Director, review and approve clinical documentation in accordance with compliance standards. 
  • Identify and support development of innovative, evidence-based programming to keep Fernbrook at the forefront of mental health providers and meet community needs. 
  • In partnership with the Administrative Director, develops and manages the county budget, ensuring the delivery of clinical services and activities within the budget. In partnership with the Administrative Director, ensure services are consistent with organizational philosophy and professional standards. 
  • Identify development opportunities with staff and ensures continuous professional growth is occurring. 
  • In partnership with the Administrative Director, complete and/or approve performance evaluations for staff. 
  • Manage and facilitate clinical meetings in conjunction with Administrative Director. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources and community partnerships. 
  • Serve as a member of the Fernbrook leadership team, implementing organizational strategies and maintaining the culture. 
  • Communicate and reflect Fernbrook Family Center’s mission internally and externally. 
  • Comply with agency policies and procedures, implements the organization’s policies and procedures with staff members, and ensures regulatory and contract requirements are met. 
  • Other duties as assigned 


Requirements include:  

  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, valid automobile insurance, and acceptable driving record. 
  • Must pass criminal background check based on agency and Department of Human Services requirements. 
  • Meets MHP Level 3 qualifications or greater 
  • Experience in providing mental health services to children, adults, and/or families. 
  • Experience in providing clinical supervision and/or leadership.

Behavioral Therapist/Mental Health Practitioner

As a Behavioral Therapist/Mental Health Practitioner (MHP), this opportunity includes flexible work schedules, paid continuing education, ongoing training in mental health, opportunities to follow your passions and interests, potential career advancement, and more. This position will require afternoon/evening availability.

Qualifications:  

Candidates must qualify as an In-Home Behavioral Therapist/Mental Health Practitioner (MHP) in one of the following ways:  

  • 4000 hours of experience in the delivery of services to adults or children with mental health illness 
  • Has a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral sciences or related field and has completed an internship/practicum in the delivery of services to adults or children with mental health illness 
  • 30 semester hours/45 quarter hours (about 1 year as a full-time student) relevant coursework and 2,000 hours of experience in the delivery of services to adults or children with mental health illness 
  • Masters or other graduate degree in a behavioral science or related field 


Responsibilities:  

  • Helping clients manage their mental health symptoms by providing skills based training to youth, adults, families, and groups
  • Ability to work in a group setting or working with client(s) individually 1:1 
  • Ability to preserve professionalism when working with client(s) and their families 
  • Maintain all required documentation Non-traditional work hours including some evenings 
  • Some travel is required

Mental Health Therapist

  • Opportunity to be commission based with yearly income of $62k-85k
